ituneswatcher2 – admin features
24. Oktober 2005The ituneswatcher2 application (version 2.0.23) supports some command line switches which can be really useful for administration and testing purposes:
- /advanced: displays the advanced options in the context menu of the tray icon
- /debug: does the same as the “/advanced” command
If you want to start in advanced/debug mode permanently you can edit the settings.ini which is located in the ituneswatcher2 main directory.
- open the settings.ini in an editor
- change the value “mode” in the section “additional” to “advanced”

Now you have access to the following functions:

- force insert:
insert the last inserted/detected track even if it was inserted previously - insert custom:
insert a custom data to test the communication - show in browser:
If this option is enabled ituneswatcher doesn’t insert the tracks via the built-in http-module. Now the urls open in your default browser - request only first server:
If you have entered multiple servers in the url-field and serperated them with “|” only the first server will be contacted to insert the track - save history to playlist:
All the recent added tracks will be saved to a m3u playlist
